A1 Assessor Award
Assessor Award Summary
To be able to complete the Assessor award the candidate
muist be:
1. Occupationally Competent
2. Occupationally Qualified
3. Actively working in their occupational sector (eg, care)
The Assessor award comprises of 1 unit.
To be able to achieve this the candidate requires access to 2 candidates
completing a NVQ in an area that the trainee assessor is occupationally
competent.
The award requires the candidate to evidence her competencies in planning,
assessing evidence, giving feedback to their candidates and quality
assurance systems.
Delivery Method
You will be allocated a workplace assessor and a mentor who will guide you through the necessary evidence building in your workplace.
Aims & Objectives
1. To equip you to assess nvq's in
the workplace.
2. Provide you with the expertise to provide valid
and consitent assessment.
3. To progress towards the V1 award.
4. To gain a nationally recognised certificate which
indicates your competence at this level.
