The carer will:
1. Have a knowledge of the law relating to moving
and handling
2. Know the body systems involved in moving and
handling
3. Have some knowledge of the anatomy and
physiology of these systems
4. Know acceptable moves and be aware of
banned moves
5. Have practiced moving and handling people
safely
