About W&P's new Business Support Services
Since 2000 we have been involved with training packs and NVQ 2, 3 and 4 awards. With over a decade of experience we have come to know the Adult Care sector well. The idea of our new service is to share this knowledge and the expertise within W&P with you, our customers.
We are aware of the legislative changes which come into play on October 1st 2010, and which have already been in place since April 2010 for all NHS organisations. With the advent of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 and Guidance, we launch this service specifically to assist you in meeting the compliance guidance from the Care Quality Commission Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.
Specific Guidance such as the Code of Practice for Health and Adult Social Care on the Prevention and Control of Infections and Related Guidance which has been issued by the Department of Health in relation to Outcome 8 Regulation 12 Cleanliness and infection Control, is included where relevant in all the services set out in the menu towards the top right of this page and below.
Similarly, the Social Care Record Guarantee is included where relevant.
