1. To identify which behaviours
may be 'challenging' and why
2. To enable participants to identify possible causes of challenging
behaviour within a residential care setting
3. To examine how our own attitudes and responses can either calm
or inflame a situation
4. To promote safe and therapeutic practice in day-to-day work with
clients and colleagues
