From 1st January 2011 all vocational and work related qualifications changed. The essential tool in this reform of vocational qualifications is Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF).
W&P's NVQ Health and Social Care distance learning option gives the learner more choice and flexibility. Distance Learning allows Staff who are unable to attend workshops, because of busy lifestyles, night duty or family commitments, the chance to still access the underpinning knowledge they require through our jargon free Distance Packs. NVQ Health and Social Care Awards allow the learner to improve their standards and further their skills in their working environment.

How long do the carers take to complete their NVQ in Health and Social Care? Can they only go to workshops in 'term time'?

We have experienced Internal Verifiers who give excellent support and guidance to Assessors so they in turn are able to give candidates all the support they need. This ensures candidates who understand how they have gained their award, have improved their care practice and have achieved their level 2 award in 3 - 6 months.
