Hi can anyone help me with this one

How can you access, review and evaluate information about resources, services and facilities relevant to the needs and preferences of the individuals with whom you work?

does this mean seeking referrels from other professionals ? and observation of whether it is beneficial to the client

thankyou

Hi flick24,

This is about information about resources, services and facilities.

How can you find information about resources etc your that your individuals could use?

How can you review the information about the use of the resources etc ?

How can you evaluate the information about the use of the resources?

NVQ speak can drive you crazy!

Hope that helps

Hi Paul,

The optional units are set out in the same way as the mandatory units with PCs requiring evidence of your work practice (Performance) and a Knowledge Specification section for you to show that you have the knowledge required.

There are no questions unless they are ones that have been set by your assessor.

You can use any of the evidence methods, Direct obs, Reflective Accounts, Work Products etc as well as questions from your assessor to cover the knowledge specification.

For example look at HSC 330 Knowledge Specification (KS) 6:

How to deal with and challenge discrimination for individuals accessing and using services
and facilities.

Its not a question. Its asking you to show how you do this so that you can show your knowledge.

You might have an example of when you tried to arrange a service for a disabled person but they told you that they couldn't provide for disabled people. You then challenged the discrimination and the service was provided.

If you write a reflective account or use the report of the incident (Work Product) you can use it to cover the KS.

If you get stuck you will find there are many on this forum who offer great support. I am always happy to help when I can.

Hope that helps
