Make sure the enviroment suits their needs, i.e is it quite, m em Find out about the service users communication abilities chat to them and adapt the way you communicate too suite their needs. 2. Maybe you can't fully understand them. You would need to adapt, maybe they are getting upset. Or trying to tell you something, and can't make themselves be understood.

It's true that environment plays an important role in effective communication. Response is must in communication as it builds a connection between a speaker and a listener.
