Hi wanda,

Think about the job you do and how it fits in with the other care services provided to your individuals.

For example, you make sure that individuals are provided with care ie they are clean, rested, fed etc and that they are supported in their intellectual, social and emotional needs. You liaise with other agencies to provide seamless care such as arranging and attending appointments or carrying out treatment or therapy regimes set by them etc.

Hope that helps

Just do what it says o the tin!
Think of a recent training session you completed, what was it about, what did you learn.
Then say how you were able to use it in your job.

Maybe you did some moving and handling training, maybe you learned how to use a slide sheet properly, did this help you to move someone, maybe you were shown different uses for handling belt?

3.3 You need to look at the Mental Capacity Act Principles for this answer.

4.1 The main principle is that active participation empowers individuals to participate in the activities and relationships of everyday life as independently as possible.

4.2 So think and write about how the individual can be an active partner in their own care and support, this might be personal care, finance control- rather than being a passive recipient. There are physical, emotional, sense of worth, well being, part of community & peer group etc…

Hope this helps.
