Hi I did this a few weeks ago and yes it is a bugger, There are 5 codes of practice for the employee to follow and 6 codes for the employer to follow. every work place should have a code of practice hand book for students and workers to read. if you haven't got a placement your local social services department accessed on line will have all the answers you need to do the assignment. you will find it all under CQC, Equality and diversity and safe guarding and government white papers. and legilation, tap in your question on the find bar and search for the answer.

Good luck Pamela Nottingham.

Hi all who are stuck on the Equality and Diversity, Equality is equal for every one, diversity is the rights of each individual having the same chances and inclusion is when every one comes together and includes every one from every walk of life and they all get treated the same with eqaul oppertunities no matter what their colour creed nationality and status are. this includes the eqaulity of vulnerable people who are reliant on others for their daily needs. people with a learning disability , aged persons and other vulnerable people are ideal examples.
Legislation are the white papers rules policies the government sets out for every one who cares for some one else wether at home or in a care setting. Also discrimination is big in this part more evidence the better.
