need help please i am new to this site i am half way though my nvq2 health and social care
but have got a little stuck can anyone help
name two pieces of legislation that relate to the prevention and control of infection

briefly outine two main points of each legistaion you have chosen

there is many legislationa that relate to prevention and control of infection:
- Health and Safety at Work Act (1974)
- Health and Social Care Act 2008
- The NICE (National Institute For Health and Clinical Excellence) Guidelines
- COSH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 1992
- RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurences Regulations)
- The Public Health (Control of Diseases) Act 1984
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Regulations 1992
- Controlled Waste Regulations 1992 (includes Clinical Waste)
- Food Safety Act
and many more
Just pick two of them
