Hi, an example would be The Data Protection Act 1998, then I suggest that you write a little about the Act eg:
This is the law that protects personal privacy & upholds individual's rights

and what it does
eg.

gives rights to the people the information is about - data subjects
puts obligations on the people who hold the information - data controllers
non-compliance is a criminal offence

Freedom of Information Act 2000
What it does? Who it applies to? (Internet search for more info)

Care Quality Commission (CQC) 'Essential Standards of Quality & Safety', Outcome 21 deals with Records, (info on their website)

The General Social Care Council (GSCC) 'Codes of Practice' (info on their website.)

Your employers' Policies & Procedures, such as record-keeping, information security, etc, etc.
