CQC Regulations
On 1st April 2015 Regulations came into force regarding Health and Social Care in England. These regulations form the basis of the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection regime.
The regulations and how CQC inspects providers has changed quite dramatically since April 2015. W&P ensures that all changes and good practice examples are tracked in order to understand, assimilate and interpret these changes to pass on to our customers. It is vital for organisations to understand the legislation and how it can affect their businesses so that improvement plans can be developed and implemented to improve compliance against the five key domains of Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring and Well Led.
The legislation needs to be understood so that providers can develop their processes and systems to meet the regulations.
Specific Guidance such as the Code of Practice for Health and Adult Social Care on the Prevention and Control of Infections and Related Guidance which has been issued by the Department of Health in relation to Regulation 12 Safe Care and Treatment, is included where relevant in all our business support services and products.
