Health & Social Care Level 4 Award Summary
The award is aimed at those staff working at a management level who have particular responsibility for the allocation of resources and the training and development of staff in the care sector. The Award has links to NVQ level 4 management and the Leadership & Management in Care Award. It also links to NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Aims & Objectives
1. Developing your knowledge and awareness
in a junior management role.
2. To gain a better understanding of your contribution
to developing methods and maintaining and evaluationg systems within
your workplace.
3. Advance your professional development in Helath
& Social Care to meet the care standards.
4. Gain a nationally recognised certificate which
indicates your competence at this level.
Delivery Method - Distance Learning
To achieve this award a candidate must complete 8
units, 4 core plus 4 optional.
You will be allocated a workplace assessor who will guide you through
the necessary evidence building.
Provision of extra knowledge will be available in any area of the
award when necessary.
