14/04/08 - Food safety guidance from the Food Standards Agency.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has published guidance called Safer food, better business (SFBB) designed to help small businesses put in place food safety management procedures and comply with food hygiene regulations.

There are a number of SFBB information packs available which are designed to meet the specific needs of different food businesses.

There is also a DVD guide, available in 16 different languages, that has been produced to help food businesses implement the food safety management procedures and train staff.

The Food Standards Agency will be launching an SFBB supplement for care homes later this year.
