Ensure your policies are CQC compliant with W&P’s Policy Update Service.
W&P’s policy and compliance team constantly scan and review all the statutory websites and regulatory publications to track the very latest developments in the Health & Social Care Sector. We then assimilate all the data collected and update the policies every 4 months or immediately if there is a critical change to regulation, good practice guidance, case law outcomes or just feedback from customers.
The update service is free for your first year. For convenience, we ask you to sign up to pay your annual subscription by direct debit when purchasing a full set. After the first year of free updates, unless you choose to cancel, your direct debit will start and the update service continues – we will send you a reminder that the subscription is due but if you decide to cancel before then, you can, you will not be charged a penny. The update service is just £320 (exc vat) per year after the first free year of updates.
Unlike some Policy providers, there are no license agreements, restrictive clauses or long- term commitments, when you buy domiciliary care policies and procedures from W&P, it’s a one-off cost and they are yours to keep. The only ongoing cost is the Update Service which is FREE in the first year and completely optional thereafter.
You also receive any NEW Policies and Procedures that we release to meet changes in legislation FREE of charge.
Why Are Policies and Procedures Essential for Domiciliary Care?
Clear policies and procedures for domiciliary care are vital to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality care in people’s homes. They act as a framework for carers, managers, and care coordinators to follow, helping to:
- Promote person-centred care
- Maintain compliance with CQC regulations
- Protect the health, safety and dignity of service users
- Provide clear guidance to staff during complex situations
Without properly structured policies in place, domiciliary care (homecare) providers may face serious risks — including inspection failures or safeguarding breaches.
At W&P Compliance Centre, we’ve developed ready-to-use domiciliary care policies that cover all major areas, including:
- Medication management
- Infection control
- Safeguarding adults
- Lone working
- Complaints and whistleblowing
- Record keeping and confidentiality
These are written in plain English, regularly updated to reflect legislation changes, and designed to be easily understood by care staff at all levels.
